Installation at Nomas Project

Ashes collected during the burning process of Fire Etching is displayed along with a piece titled “Beneath the heavens” 2020 at Nomas Project based in Dundee.

Called by General Washington during the Civil War as "sympathetic stain” or "white ink”, the transient nature of this process invites the exploration, as it stands at the opposite spectrum of what we normally think of art to transcends the generations and outlive artists short life span.
